A warm, story-rich framed matte canvas that brings a rainy Halloween evening in the tropics into your home. The illustration shows two costumed keiki walking hand-in-hand down a rain-soaked island street, one carrying a bat-print umbrella and a black cat pail, the other a ghost umbrella and a glowing jack-o'-lantern bucket, on their way to trick-or-treat past plumeria trees and monkeypod blooms. Rain-streaked skies, tropical foliage, and island-style plantation homes give the scene a lived-in, nostalgic feel — like a Halloween walk remembered from childhood. The slim pine frame and matte finish soften glare and let the gouache's painterly brushstrokes and rich colors take center stage. This piece fits into a calm, everyday corner: above a small entryway table, in a keiki's room, or leaned on a bookshelf to set a warm, seasonal tone.
